EDPL is a service provider and technology company that delivers financial services to the underserved at the last mile. The company was set up with a vision of enabling access to IRCTC, travel, tours, hotels, insurance, banking, and other financial services for the unbanked and underserved population at the bottom of the pyramid.

Mr. T.K.Dutta , a fellow of MIT, Sloan School of management, carried his distribution and general management experience of 42 years to become an entrepreneur creating EDPL sixteen years ago. The central theme has been common since then: building a profitable revenue model while making a deep social impact.
